As a project manager and creative lead, I had the opportunity to plan and execute the second annual Nexus event in Atlanta. This task came with a unique set of challenges, as the event was being held at a destination that was far from our home base. As a result, I had to exercise my planning, leadership, and communication skills to ensure the success of the event. Coordinating transportation, lodging, and meals for a large group was a logistical challenge that required attention to detail and effective communication with vendors, attendees, and other stakeholders.
